VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging youth, families and educators through public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Details were published in this Scientology Europe report.
According to organisers, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe eu news farsi and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
